About the Bulgarian Association of Patients’ Defense
The Bulgarian Association for Patients’ Defense” is a non-governmental organization for the public benefit, established in 2002. BAPD focuses on the prevention of socially significant diseases and activities to create better conditions and practices for the treatment of various types of diseases: cardiovascular, oncological, endocrine, lung, rare diseases, as well as the protection and interests of injured and infected patients. Since 2010, BAPD is a national representative organisation accepted by the Minister of Healthcare.
