About Arianet, Mobile Reporter, Doctors for the Environment Italy and Legambiente
Four organisations are working together in Italy to raise awareness about the effects of air pollution on public health as part of this project.

Arianet is an environmental consultancy based in Monza (Milan), founded in 2000 by a group of experts in atmospheric modelling, coming from research centers (ENEL, universities) and from the professional world. Its main purpose is to contribute to the improvement of understanding of the atmospheric environment through the numerical simulation at different scales of meteorology, dispersion and transformation of airborne pollutants, to support local authorities and businesses in assessing the impact of their activities and the effects of industrial discharges, controlling air quality at a local and basin scale, designing interventions and rehabilitation plans in the urban and industrial fields.
The Italian association Doctors for the Environment was founded in 1989 by a group of Italian doctors who are aware that, in order to ensure the health of everyone, doctors must also take care of the health of the environment in which we live, both as doctors and as inhabitants of the Earth.
Legambiente is the largest Italian non-profit ecological association, made up of citizens who care about the protection of the environment in all its forms, the quality of life, a more equitable, just and supportive society. It is a great non-partisan movement inspired by people who, through voluntary work and direct participation, become promoters of change for a better future. The Association founded its mission on scientific environmentalism, collecting thousands of pieces data on our ecosystem from below, which are the basis of every complaint and proposal
