The Association Nationale pour l’Amélioration de la Qualité de l’Air et la Défense des Victimes de la Pollution (Respire) is the leading national NGO working on air pollution in France.
Respire leads a national campaign against air pollution in schools. We have succeeded in convincing many cities to take action to decrease traffic near schools and we are implementing many pedestrianisations and we fight against industrial air pollution.. We help citizens to use mobile air sensors to monitor air pollution in their communities. We promote the elimination of diesel vehicles and the switch to less polluting electric vehicles
